This reaction was everything I hoped it'd be! 😊 The whole performance - banter, vocals, chemistry - is so sexy and fun, but as someone who is NOT a singer, I'm *endlessly* fascinated by the skill and vulnerability involved in that kind of improv. The EASE... it's just wild. I'm so glad you talked about that. ♡

I think it makes perfect sense that people don't improv because it takes vulnerability. But as you mentioned, practice improves improvisational skills. That's what I like about this video of Shoshana and Avery. Thanks for the reaction. It was very insightful and educational.

The part you couldn't hear at 11:58 - he says "well I like 'em a little older" ;) BTW. this isn't a cover, this is Shoshana's original song off her album Spectrum; of course, it's very different on the album

I remember in your video reacting to Morissette Amon's "Akin Ka Na Lang" rendition that you wanted to learn and sing a Tagalog song. Shoshana Bean has a collab with Troy Laureta - a distinguished music director, record producer and musician who is based in LA. He's Fil-Am and produced collab with music artists to sing Tagalog songs. You may want to check his work.

Como de costumbre, tu mirada y tu oído a la hora de desmenuzar una canción, no tiene parangón (imagino que tendrás que utilizar el diccionario para entender ésto, jeje). La verdad es que, dejando a un lado que son fantásticos cantantes, me gustaría verte analizar más variedad de artistas ( y eso que me encantan algunos de los que ya has revisado); por ejemplo, tienes todo el resto de América por descubrir, la mayor parte de los países de Europa, y si retrocedemos un poco en el tiempo, hay todo un universo de fabulosos artistas que sería genial que trajeras a tu canal para que las nuevas generaciones los lleguen a conocer. Como siempre, te mando un fuerte abrazo y muchos ánimos para seguir con tu canal.

I do agree that they have other, better performances of this song (and I think Shoshana was a bit sick in this one). What I like most about this one over the others is their banter/friendship. It's more on display here.
