Exec Producer Adam Parsons is once again joined by Creative Director Sion Lenton, Lead Artist Mike Smith and Principal Game Designer Tim Browne as they discuss amongst other things the wide ranging improvements in AI, animation and the behind the gun experience in Red River over 2009's million-plus seller Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising™.
They also expand upon how whilst making the game more accessible to gamers new to the Flashpoint series they haven't compromised on the Flashpoint maxim that one bullet can still be fatal.
ESRB Rating: MATURE with Violence, Blood and Gore, Strong language

I am glad to see the removal of limbs is still in, the rag-doll looks like one of the highlights of the game

after seeing the new co-op trailer, where your team has to extract 2 helo pilots, i now believe that this is 100% improved. It really does look good

Oh and i would put loads of detail into the guns cuz i guss thats what the player will be holding and running about with through out the whole game so a nice gun is something to add to the presentation,and add some large spits of sparks and smoke to the gun shots :) with shake effect that battle field 3 has in their new game, THAT LOOKS AMAZING lol their guns do this crazy jilt with the fire of each bullet looks so cool

i would want in future OF of course to see limbs flying off and building and land destructability. EX: you can place breaching charges or c4 on walls and blow holes in them to walk through instead of using doors. .50 cal mg's severing a leg or a person in half like in real life

@vladut15bis CM has confirmed that the US version will indeed be delayed until June. This is more than likely just because of licensing and customs issues, something of that nature. After DR, I highly doubt that they're going to be busting their asses up until June for the American market. If anything, they'll be working with the UK market on bugs and whatnot, and all us American gamers will have a nice hefty patch to deal with once we pop it into our systems, finally. Better late than never...

I am a bit too late but thanks for develop the game, i really enjoyed it.I dont know how people played the game, but my experience was closer to simulator than an arcade,if you play Gran turismo ramming and crashing burnout style it will disapoint you, same here.

The flashes from the bullets flying into your face really puts you on the edge of your seat. But the voices sound really really really cheesey lol, like one guy sounds like he should be wearing a cape another guy sounds like he's that jewish guy from family guy lol and another guy just sounds like his voice has no grit to it. Also noticed that everyone said that the pixel effected looked crap on battlefield3 and now they have take it out and it looks wayyy better, you should take yours out

i like the way you can die instantly depending on where you are hit, instead of like cod, where you can be shot 5 times in the face, have your screen go read, then just wait for it to go away,

I have high hopes for this, despite the debauchery that was Dragon Rising. If I'm let down again I'll likely never trust Codemasters again. This looks pretty damn good though, so fingers crossed!

like the pixel effect kinda comes on when you get shot lol it kinda takes the whole idea of you being a human and makes you feel like your a robot lol, like no ones vision goes into a crazy pixel spin out when they get shot lol. so i would say get different voices, change that pixel effect when a person gets shot and also i would add the sound effect of a persons heart beat panicing, you know when drenolin starts going you can hear your heart lol its things like that, that will grab attention

why did they have to delay the release now its not coming out till june 25-11 this sucks so bad i love dragon rising stupid AI and all and ive been dying for red river and got so exited that it came out this month. ut now i find out from gamestop it got pushed back blows balls :(

From what i have seen, the game looks good. Why is everybody hating this game? So what if its different to the last one. They need to keep changing the games up a little bit otherwise it gets boring. Im not comparing it to COD but COD hasnt changed at all and its boring as shit now.

Recoil, where is the fucking recoil!!!! look at arma 2!!!! that's recoil!!!! arrrgghhh, so sad how they dumbed it down just to satisfy cod players... but i'll give this a shot with a rent, i wish games would come with the option to change gameplay such as your prefered recoil level, you want COD like recoil, change it to that, if you want realistic recoil, then give that option. SATISFY CONSUMER DEMAND!!!!
