I’ve been listening to Howard for about a year, and couldn’t even turn O&A on after listening since 2008…. I figured out Opie. Opie is like a “war time” president. He was good in the beginning of the show bc he said and would act like he didn’t care, and that mentality was needed in the radio world of 90s and early 00s… Then when the battle was over and they were no longer a Howard knock off, then they moved to just being funny and not mean funny…. And that’s where Opie was lost. He was good at being mean… he could help with “mean-funny” radio but for “funny” radio he was a fish out of water

the jail time serial killer get is often quite merciful they are not put in general population but get put in wards with emotionally unstable, other inmates who got chased out of, or broke down in general population... or they get isolated. BTK was undoubtedly instructed by his lawyers to be calm, descriptive, and chronological about his killings. I always get a kick out of it when people say "I can't believe how calm and organized he was about retelling it." The lawyers likely scripted it out and rehearsed it before he was in court. The whole point was to exemplify that he was a sick individual with no emotional connection to the murders. Him being calm and organized was the whole point, you dults!!!
@MartKencuda7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, how else do they think a confession would sound? Especially from a guy who killed people for his own pleasure. He's not going to cry or get choked up when recounting what he did for fun and if he did it be so obviously fake. It'd be like someone crying when they're telling you about a kickass roller-coaster they just rode. Also it's "dolt", you dolt.
