Winfrey, a "60 Minutes" special contributor, joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss the exhibit and her reflections on the impact of her show.

Wamuyu Gatheru Obama shared some things with Oprah about religion. The Bible says only Jesus is the way to heaven. But that's not the case for Jews. Perhaps that's not the case for ppl who've never heard of him but know God from the beauty of the Universe. I love Oprah. She is not a theologian and neither is Obama. But I don't know what their relationship with Jesus is and that's the only view I need.

I dealt with .... Issues because of your show, informative guests , and your caring spiritual kindness and faith. 💓 As a great grandmother I still draw inspiration from Oprah. More than I can express. Thank you for being a vessel, a blessing, a warrior, a woman of substance. Bless you 💜

I grew up in Australia in the 80's and I would rush home from school everyday to take charge of the TV because I wanted to watch Oprah. No one else in my family watched it so I had to get in first. The most memorable episode I saw was when a man who was ex CIA or FBI or something like that, he was teaching us what to do if we were kidnapped or attacked. Things like, if you were thrown in the boot of a car, to push out the tail light and put your hand through the gap to alert other drivers.

The Oprah Winfrey show literally saved my life! I was assulted in 1993 and one of the first things I thought of was her interview with John Walsh. He said "Don't become a victim of crime scene #2. You won't make it out alive." I fought hard that night to stay alive and had written a letter to Oprah but never sent it.

Long long time ago, watching the Oprah show, she had a segment called "get moving with Oprah" 1995 it was about walking, speed walking, jogging or even running. I started out just walking and 3 weeks later I was speed walking. I wound up loosing a few pounds, but like so many of my good intentions that went someplace else.....oh well, I do eat better and very rarely eat fast foods because in a way i've become grossed out to the people maybe doing this or that to your food when your not looking. 😲.

I loved the Oprah Show but I was already shaped by earlier television shows, it was just the fact that she was Black like me and talked about stuff that I did or did not know about. I think I had already seen it all from other talk shows whether they were White or not did not matter to me, I took it as, a lesson and then learned from it. People may talk alot about Jerry Springer, Maury, Steve, but it was reality for me and I saw all kinds of people on their show and the good part about it is that they had reunion show and I got to see the change that some people made. Everything I see is not what others see cause I have learned from everything but it was television first that was my first teacher.

Is this exhibit on now?!? O I SO WANT TO SEE IT! Maya A. would have been so proud, I’m sure - and it is true, people do trust her the way they trusted Walter Cronkite. When he came on the evening news and said the Vietnam War was effectively lost, that was it - the war was effectively “over” from the point-of-view of a sizable minority of the public, and a plurality of the political class (as well as the President), defending its winnability. I wish she had a platform today, and I wish she would weigh in against Trumpism the way she threw in for Obama. It could turn the tide!
