What I admire most about Radiohead is that although Thom is their lead singer, they are all really front men. Everyone of them contributes so much to the overall sound. It’s so beautiful to listen to and watch.

I believe everyone in the band has had a solo record but Colin. However, often in reaction videos I hear people giving props to the bassist. I do think the ultimate genius behind Radiohead is a combination of Thom’s writing with Jonny’s ambient, orchestral, lead guitar brilliance, but it can’t be denied that the other three members are just exceptional musicians. It takes all five for them to bring it together.

for real though, when Jonny & Thom wanted to start getting weird with it during the Kid A sessions a lot of second lead guitarists might have left to try doing their own thing considering he would have been in high demand after the success of OK Computer, but instead he just decided to learn how to create texture and ambience with pedals and his backing vocals. there's a reason he's always been called the secret weapon of the band
