Doctor Malik, as always a great informative podcast. I have been on the pellet system for about a year and a half and it is working very well. It lasted 10 months the first time and I will be seeing my Doctor again in July. Like you she is a Urologist and Surgeon. Thank you again for your time and support.

As always, very insightful content Dr. Rena. Your advice to try Tongkat Ali was something that has changed my life for the better. I’ve been on it for over a year now and have never felt better in my life. Last check a month back, my testosterone levels are at a healthy range and my day-to-day workouts have improved tremendously. No more fatigue, libido like a young man again, and I’m just a lot happier generally. It’s really amazing what healthy testosterone levels can do! Speaking of menopause, I’ve let my mother try a lower dose of Tongkat Ali and it’s really helped with some of the more disruptive symptoms like hot-flashed and joint pain. Going to continue to monitor her progress, but, so far, she’s feeling great on it.

Is processed food and fast food one in the same? Like, take out. Could that also cause low T?

The vast majority of restaurants in the US do not use high quality ingredients and they also use seed oils as opposed to healthier alternatives. It's all about cost for them. You're better off not eating out no matter the restaurant if you're concerned about health.

For most of my adult life I've have very strong libido and regular sex. About 10 years ago, my libido began diminishing, and now I have 0 libido and no erectile function. My doctor indicates that this is normal for my age (67) and that there's no benefit for testosterone replacement therapy - the last time I was measured (2018) I was at 42.7 pg/mL which seems low to me. Do you believe I would benefit from testosterone replacement therapy, and if so, how can I begin such therapy? Thanks!

👊🤔Strange how Testosterone in 16-21 a Males Teststerone is high but muscle mass is lower in the majority, But later in life Testosterone is lower and the muscle mass is higher "Same BF %".

I think that's just from training/workouts. Teenage high T does not equal hypertrophy without doing the work in the gym, T might get lower as you age but if you hit the gym every day you will see results, my experience anyway. :)

@@frederickhunter4649 What are we talking about like an 80 year old machine? I would imagine from 80 and below DHEA could have a big impact on them. I'm not talking about TRT in most of the people who don't need it but followed poor diets and have addictions. That's like throwing NOS into a junker and hoping nay praying the engine doesn't blow up which it can and will... Heart palpitations will gum that system up real nice but at least they got a few good years off before they kicked the bucket. IF not DHEA Tongkat isn't bad either Tribulus also, Fadogia if you really feel you want total T boost.

@@frederickhunter4649 They just want better quality of life for a little longer. Rage against the dying of the light? No? Nobody wants to pack it in just yet. Unless you are 80+ years old and it's OVER! Some things like DHEA, Tribulus, Tongkat, Fadogia can help people.

Enjoy your content, but going to have to ask you to reevaluate your statement on women needing progesterone if they only have a uterus. There are progesterone receptors in the brain, bones, blood vessels, breast, vagina etc... Women need progesterone where do they have a uterus or not as it is so much more than just protecting the uterine lining.

Saying that loosing weight will increase testosterone is a very bad advise without propre context. Whenever I loose weight my testosterone level drops even lower.

I’m only 242 pounds, for the age of 58; and I want to get down to 300 pounds. My testosterone levels are the ultimate low for me. I’ve never had any ED problem until I was 50….. I’m so embarrassed for this problem of mine, that I don’t want to be with a woman. Personally; I’ve hit so much to offer the right woman: respect, love, passion and kindness and of course support

during the process of losing the weight it probably went down. But once you maintain a weight it should get better. If you fluctuate weight then it's likely not going to be steady
