Until the early 1980s that I know of, Whirlpool made all of Sears canisters too with the agreement not to sell under the Whirlpool name in the US though not originally. Whirlpool offered their own machines on the market from the 1950s through the mid 1960s. They attempted again in the late eighties and Sears went King Kong all over them again. Now the partnership is over. Whirlpool is a mighty international company and Sears is on life support. Not exactly in a position of leverage anymore.

Wow, I actually used to have an Oreck 4300. I bought it at a garage sale because I wanted something less clunky than my dyson canister I had at the time. Unfortunately, not long after I got it, I sucked up something that must've been really hard, and the fan exploded, which damaged the fan housing, I remember thinking it was really flimsily built at the time.

It's funny that the Whirlpool's hood looks just like the Hoover U4007 Clean and Light. Whirlpool owned Hoover for some years after acquiring Maytag and before selling Hoover to TTI.

Alex, Will you be able to tear down a SupraLite or Freedom vacuum? I want to know if the same updates to the internal air path fittings done on the Hoover Royal Aerus machines were also updated in the Taconys. That's a Tacony product that makes allot of sense to me for my uses. I like direct air efficiency.

+Bruce Solomon unfortunately at this time I am forbidden to do videos on Tacony products. But I have a playlist with a tear down on new and old machines that I did while ago. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fNqeYKaLr9a9m3U.html

Any idea where I can find any spare parts for one of these or anyone who has extra parts laying around? I have one in great cosmetic condition but need an internal part.
