A review of Millican Valley Plateau OHV area between Prineville and Bend Oregon. I also discuss Oregon OHV rules and regulations as well as some general trail etiquette. Just stumbled upon this video and it's a great introduction to the area. Really appreciate it. I just picked up an old GS and I'd like to take it out into Millican to experience just how hard riding a big bike in sand can be, but I wasn't sure what to expect and what permit I'd need. No one talks about that stuff when they talk about getting out in the desert. And with all the wildfire issues the past couple years, it's great you mention those precautions. See you out there!

Very good trail system, nearly identical to the terrain you get at East Fort Rock (china hat) but usually less crowded. We are super spoiled here in central Oregon! If you can catch these after a desert rain rolls through its absolutely epic riding! Great video review, thank you poster.

Thanks for sharing this. I love it out there in the high desert. The National Guard has a training area out there (BIAK, just East of the Redmond Airport, South of the 126), and every time I'm out there driving in a HEMTT or HMMWV I think about how fun it would be on a bike. One of these years, when I get a new off road machine, I'll actually make it out there and check it out.

One of the guys I ride with loves it over there once it starts raining. We keep planning to get over there but never seem to make it. I'm stuck in tax season now so only the occasional quick Sunday rides for me until after April 15th.

Pretty much learned to ride at Millican, sand definitely helped a lot.

I miss the High Desert of Oregon like that area!! Have not been in it since I was a kid. That will be solved SOON!!! haha

This place looks familiar. I believe you've vlogged in this area before, or at least someplace that looks a lot like it. May not be too technical, but it looks like a lot of fun. It doesn't always have to be about extreme enduro! LOL!!
