SC fan here to give the Beavers the props and respect they deserve. Clean game, great sportsmanship, and a group of great talent. The future is bright for this program and I can’t wait to watch them next season. This coach is so genuine. Love the respect and genuineness he exudes.

Great heart, great competitiveness, great execution, and great coach. This team played clean and tried to win not with ego or dirty play, but with execution and strategy and grit. There is no drama with this team. They just make plays repeatedly and they fight until the very end. I live in Columbia, SC and I support Dawn Staley and her team every single game. But this Oregon State team battled and battled like champions. There is no shame in going toe to toe against SC. Oregon State earned all respect to be in the elite 8 and to compete down to the wire to go to the Final 4. I'm sorry the refs mucked things up on both sides. But both teams fought to the finish, both sides have everything to be proud of.

Great game, as a South Carolina fan, it was nice to watch a game where all players played with sportsmanship. No trash talking, nothing but rolled eyes and sometimes smiles, as these officials made some interesting calls, both ways. I feel like we’ll see you again.

@kenichitamagusuku3194 The coach at LSU is disgusting. Her behavior should not be rewarded. She was like that at ASU. The ASU coach of the boys basketball team is difficult to watch, too.

As a Gamecock fan, the Beavs are one heckuva team. Built to win a title! March takes more than it gives, and I'm glad that the Gamecocks got to play you. If we win a title, you played a huge role in pushing us to make us better. Congrats on the Elite Eight run, ladies. Always had a soft spot for Oregon State in all sports! Go Beavs!

SC alum here and loved watching this. Was at the game and mad props and respect for the OSU players and coaches. Your fight and grit was impressive. Congrats and hope your school lands in a good conference space. Was refreshing to see the low drama and great basketball of our side of the regional. Go Gamecocks!

I'm an SC fan too and I have a so much love for this team! Last year you guys were 13-18 and this year you turned it around to 27-8. The hard work is there and saying that yall 'aren't supposed to make it this far' isn't true. Yall battled this season, and your conference is tough as hell. I look forward to yall becoming a powerhouse team in the future!

You don't get to watch them because they're in a small market, and the media constantly begin their games when the east coast is going to bed. Late games have been a controversy here for years. Imagine you open a restaurant with good food and your doors open after the competition has closed and gone home because the customers are getting ready for bed.

Also my school. You women and coaches made me so proud of you all. How fantastic of a season. Love how all of you love the game you play, and know how special the moment is. But, never loose sight of what is most important. The respect of your fellow people ( man ). Helping one another be as good as they can. Being a team. We see that as fans and love it.

If Beers doesn't get hurt, Oregon St would of been a #1 seed. Top 5 out the gate next year. I enjoyed watching this team play and next year is going to be the best for women's basketball, ever. Oregon St, Ucla, Usc SC, Notre Dame. 5 teams off the top of my head, that will be tough outs

i agree- although i do wonder if we would have seen the growth in players like Dom and TG if Beers didn't go down. if we don't lose anyone to the portal this team will be unstoppable. beaver nation believes big time in these girls- and now the world will finally see it. LFG BEAVS!

Nice game coach and props to Talia for sticking around. And the media? Seems like they're promoting all the wrong things---and creating headaches for youth coaches (and parents) who are trying to do the right thing.
