Organ Identification and Functions | Review and Practice

6 ай бұрынIn this video I will be asking a series of questions asking students to identify organs. I also review the major functions of the organs. This video would be good as a preview for students entering A&P I or A&P II or as a refresher for students with pre-existing knowledge of the subject
Topics covered: the definition of an organ, skin function, liver function, brain (afferent vs efferent), spleen function (red pulp vs white pulp), basic stomach function (mechanical vs chemical digestion) small intestine vs large intestine function, function of lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes, basic kidney and ureter function

Give me your best guesses as to what you think it is and why... and make it a publicly available link via Google photos or iPhotos and I will take a look at it... But no promises on identification. Identification is sometimes impossible without the full context of the slide. If you don't know how to make a publicly available link/dont have those services... Bile, the digestive juice contained within the organ, is a yellow green color. You can sometimes vomit bile. Maybe that's why the vomiting emoji has a green liquid pouring out of its mouth 🤔
