This tells me that front neck curls and neck extensions are sufficient for neck development. No side neck curls needed

I had trouble retaining the words... Levetator labii superioris. I'm not used to seeing the word superior at the end of phrase. Because I learned phrases like superior articulated facet, and etc....
@AnatomyHero3 күн бұрын
Sometimes when they change it to a Latin phrase the word order gets flipped around! Usually the adjective (like superioris) ends up at the end. If you're having trouble making a name with multiple words stick you can try first remembering the abbreviation (LLS) to see if that helps!

Also, *levator, just think it's "elevator" with no "E"
@Kevin_Huynh02072 күн бұрын
@AnatomyHero thank you. I did well with the bones practicum cause of you. But the face muscles I only got the obvious ones correct like buccinator, mentalis, orbibular oris, orbicular oris, zygomaticus, sternocleidomastoid. My mind blanked out on levator labii superioris, and depressor labii inferioris. Memorizing one word is easier than remembering multiple words.

Love your video like alot of everyone else, very interested as right now as my WBC is 16 and maximum is 11, and lymphocytes 8.9 and maximum is 4.0 and monocytes is 1.4 and maximum is 1.0 . So with your experience should I be worried as who ever is scanning my blood isn't raising any red flags when entering my results to my manage my health account and my doctor is returning next week after 2 months away so you American doctors rock as I'm from New Zealand KIWI and anxious,💐💐💐
@AnatomyHero3 күн бұрын
Although I know how to identify white blood cells, I'm not a doctor...and I don't actually have any specific training regarding interpreting lab results. I'm glad your doctor is returning next week so you can ask them directly...but in the mean time try not to be too worried. Sometimes values outside the reference ranges arent indicative of a disease process (once again, I'm just speaking generally...I have no experience with these lab values specifically) Also elevated white blood cells could just be from something relatively benign, like a minor infection. Definitely call your doctor's office about it next week if you're concerned but do your best to put it out of your mind for now!

You are a hero. If it wasn't for this channel, I would have a hard time with remembering. These names assigned to bones are so random. I feel like I'm just forced to memorize.

Idk how I passed A&P when I took it in uni a lonnnnng time ago. I definitely was not consistent and checked out on some sections. It’s been many years since then and I am reviewing the lab manual from front to back and looking up stuff that I don’t understand. I want to go vet school and figure that learning human A&P thoroughly would provide a good basis. I also have a mini flash card booklet and it helps me to review finer details on the go, but not a replacement for the lab manual and quality sitting down study time. I don’t think I developed good study habits in uni though, most of my science courses didn’t need it. If I had a particular hard course, I would take easier courses at the same time or take it by itself in summer school (like Organic Chem) and did really well. Now I want to develop those good study habits so I don’t flunk out of vet school. Anyway, I haven’t gotten to the Physiology part of the course yet but I will see how much I struggle. 🤷🏻

I can tell which humerus is anterior or posterior based on the condyles and fossa, but I’m confused by the direction of the heads. I feel so silly asking this but it is a left humerus??

You're right, it's a left humerus. Don't feel silly for asking a question!

My professors anatomy exams are killing me. His answers a, b, c, a &c , or all of the above.
@AnatomyHero11 күн бұрын
My best advice is after your test, go back through your class materials...your professors notes, powerpoints, your book...and see if you can find the answers to the questions you missed to figure out what materials you need to be reviewing more thoroughly.

There is also R and rh- negative.
@AnatomyHero12 күн бұрын
I'm not entirely certain what you're referring to ..but if you're referring to the part in the beginning where I'm talking about the three common antigens found in human blood, Rh negative is not an antigen. Rh negative means you DONT have an Rh antigen.
