Organic Village Foods Cooking Raw Cashew Nuts Curry in my Village by Grandma முந்திரி பருப்பு கறி

This reminds me of my childhood in Malaysia where there was a cashew nut tree at the back of my house. I used to enjoy the fruit which was a bit sappy but delicious. The nut was roasted and eaten. These people are so lucky to enjoy the organic fruits and vegetables of their garden.

This reminds me of being on the farm with my grandma, on a sunny afternoon in the UK and cooking outside on a big open fire. We used to watch her make homemade soups and stews too. Or autumn making jams, pickles and gorgeous sweet honeycomb. I love this grandma and she adores her girls and it shows. Beautiful!

I thought the same thing. wow. You would have to pluck the whole tree to get what she did. Also very interesting to see how they grow in their pod. Didn't realize that there was a second skin/shell that she peeled off after the first boil.
@alfonsedente96796 жыл бұрын
Aaura Spirit i was curious too.. found out everything else besides the nut is poisonous
@Camarggio6 жыл бұрын
Alfonse Dente The pulp, (fruit) is not poisonous and it's very succulent when eaten ripe...
@alfonsedente96796 жыл бұрын
Camarggio you are welcome to do whatever you want with your nuts. Personally, numerous sources speak of dermatitis similar to poison ivy concerning the shells, or skins. So i shall pass, the chance isnt worth it to me.

I want to pay respect to this India woman, this woman is beyond Gifted with her hands, that is not to say, all the India women are not Gifted, with the way they prepare their meal, they take full advantage of every single Vegetable that God has provided for them in the land, these women prepare hearty meals, out of Vegetables, that I have never seen or heard of before, I have been Blessed and Pray, they will continue to be a Blessing to the entire world.

I just came across your videos earlier this afternoon and I am so amazed it makes me feel to just watch them. I started this one a minute ago and already I am laughing at myself when I saw the green cashews. My Grandparents also cultivated dried/roasted cashews in Jamaica and sold in the market. As a child I visited/spent time with them often. There was one time when I didn't wait for the cashews to be prepared and I bit into the raw/green nut. You know what happened immediately😭😨to my mouth and face lol. Thank You for sharing your Wonderful and Amazing videos. God Bless.

Now everyone should know why cashews are one of the most expensive nuts. There is one nut per fruit, they must be boiled and then peeled and then left raw or roasted and salted. Cashews are more of a process than most other nuts. They are labor intensive.
