Hey budget fam! Happy Wednesday!! Today is a long video so buckle up for a lengthy questions answered video as I reorganize and reprioritize categories. This video isn't much cash stuffing or counting (just a little at the end) but is mostly consolidating a few categories and making binders make sense. While editing the video I noticed a couple things didn't really make sense so let me clarify here. When discussing moving, my intention is to still move in July BUT I'm starting to think that if money and things don't fall together perfectly, there is a chance I would move the move back to November. The idea there is it would just save me about $3,000 in moving out/penalty fees from my current apartment. In order to break my lease early (July) in good standing there are just extra fees to pay. So that is where my mind was with that question. ALSO when discussing where I see myself in 5 years I really just answered a more "business" and youtube side of things. I'd like to add to that, in 5 years I see myself living in or right outside Nashville and owning a house! We will seeeeeeeee... =)
Happy watching! With Love, Jordan

I know some things are private from us, but I just want to say how strong you are. It must not be easy to think of the unknown, but the fact that you are mainly moving for your boys shows how much of an amazing mom you are! This is such a good video, and it makes me want to rearrange my envelopes soon! Love your videos Jordan 💕

The media is definitely wrong about pricing (shocker). Prices have definitely doubled especially gas. I remember when gas was less than $2 2 years ago. Love that u are giving the advice to start stuffing just a few categories because I’ve wanted to start this system but felt like I needed to breakdown my entire income.

Hi, Jordan!! I feel like it does make sense that you wait until November to move now that the boy’s schooling is no longer a factor. You will definitely save money on lease cancellation fees and also have more time to plan and save for the big move. Regardless, we’ll support you and follow your journey! 💜

The way I have been pulling my money is: if I get paid $700 I will pull $500 for my stuffing and leave the $200. I was thinking that I might put whatever I didn't spend during the 2 week wait for next check in my savings. So say I got paid $700 but have $956.34 in my account. I would pull $500, leave $200 in checking , and put the $256.34 in my savings! Hopefully that might help some.

Loved your Q&A and I enjoy hearing you'd like to be in major stores which would be amazing to see. Since I just started budgeting alongside my 6year old daughter it's amazing that you mentioned having a family business. It would be great to have more content that is aimed for parent and child to budget together. 💗💖

I love your channel. It's fun to see how we all do things so differently. We don't cash stuff any of our bills or things that are easier to buy with a debit card, like gas money. We only do a few cash sinking funds for everyday expenses like the kids, food, and a few savings challenges for fun. Our bank is 30 minutes away, so I have learned that I don't like making extra work for myself by going to the bank to pull money out, just to drive there again and put it right back in the bank the next week, but I understand that way works better for a lot of people who like the visual reminder or are big spenders. For now, I just write out a list of our bills and expected expenses for each paycheck on paper and highlight them as we pay them online, and get out a smaller sum of cash every paycheck for our cash envelopes. If anything extra is left over after all of those expenses are paid, then we can pull it out at an ATM and cash stuff that extra money, or it stays in the bank and goes toward building our buffer or emergency fund.

Hi Sandra! I saw this comment and went and searched for your order. I found your 1 star reviews because you "didn't receive your orders". I wish you would have reached out to me first so I could help! You can reach out via email or on the Etsy platform. You ordered two printables, meaning they were sent to your email address and on the Etsy platform immediately. They are for you to print yourself, if you want them printed and mailed to you, you have to purchase that Print and Ship listing. I'm sorry this wasn't clear. Please reach out to me on Etsy if you need me to email the order to you or if you just want a refund. I hope this doesn't discourage you in the future and please just reach out if you need any help or have any questions. (Etsy messages and email is the best way to get in touch with me. I don't always see comments here or check Etsy reviews.) 💗💗💗

I definitely know how you feel on the $ on groceries, Family of 4 + 3 animals and our grocery bill went from $500-600 monthly to $800-900 and sometimes more. Not including basic household need toiletries and household cleaning supplies run us $300-450. So definitely trying to make sure I make good meals that last 2 nights or more. Some of my go to foods ~ Taco soup, chili & cornbread, taco bake or taco dip, lasagna & Queso. And definitely one of my cheapest fast dinner nights is fried rice, simple ~ white rice, cooked/drained, throw it in a frying pan heat up with soy sauce, scrambled a couple of eggs and cut up some sandwich ham and fry a few slices of bacon, throw it together and enjoy. Normally can eat 2 nights + lunch. 😊
