Love how you did the closet girl, I've done the same with the blue bins, one thing may I suggest is to use a label maker and mark what's in each bin. It's a lifesaver makes it so much easier not only for yourselfs, but also the nursing staff and anyone who may need to grab something for you. I've found that now that things are marked it's so much more motivating to actually fully unbox the deliveries, and if I cant put them away I can ask for help because all that has to be done is check what goes into the boxes and woohoo everything is where they should be. I have to do something for travel, thank you for reminding me. I'll have to check out those boxes from target.keep up the great work and love this video hun.

I would actually enjoy hearing more about your day to day with chronic illness. I really enjoy knowing I’m not alone with my stuff. I would always watch Jaq’s vlogs at lunch. So miss that. Get so excited when yours come up too!

'Actual' diagnosis? Surely if you receive a diagnosis it's a diagnosis? Or am I misreading your comment? Sorry - I'm kind of confused.

She has POTS. That is why she has the port. Many people with POTS have ports

I believe she addressed this in an earlier vlog. I can't remember he stating any particular diagnosis, but that both her and her medical professionals agreed that the benefits out-weighed the risks when it comes to a port, for her particular case. She uses it for infusions and to administer medications. Sorry if any of this was wrong Janiece! Love your vlogs, and super appreciate you sharing your experiences. Much love!

Elle Blu she has multiple chronic illnesses but I think she uses the port mostly for POTS because fluids are a big part of treating pots

Love that you've got everything so organized. As for the meds, I totally get it. I use naturopathic medicine and sometimes traditional, and used to get some relief from Chinese medicine. The comments from other people - medical staff included - can be grossly uninformed or off-base. I'm glad you have found a routine and regimen that works for you!

I am a childhood cancer survivor and yes heparin is used to prevent blood clots when the port isn’t in use. I have a port for about two years. Hope you are doing well Janiece ❤️

love this my son is chronically ill and gets ivig and its getting ready to get a port so this is helpful with medical supplies of all kinds coming into our home i need fresh ideas

I WISH I had a whole closet I could use, I have old fashioned closets with uneven shelf’s so I can’t put a rack in it. So I use totes and loose everything

Other than the swab caps are there any other products that you have tried or know of anyone using that help prevent port infection . A 3year old family friend going through chemotherapy at the moment .

Looks like our stock shelves at work (I’m a paediatric nurse). I also have a number of chronic illnesses, and I need to redo my organization of supplies, my drawers are a mess as I haven’t gotten around to cleaning it out

Janiece I think it's great that you are taking care of your health and are organized and have every thing you need in one spot and placed how you need it it's like spring cleaning your house only smaller .I like the wording on your shirt in this video it is my motto of keep moving forward, I also have a motto of upright and moving, it keeps me motivated to keep going on my bad health days.I was glad to a video of you today.

The Raw Life Oh Janiece I’m sorry to hear you haven’t gotten your insurance reinstated!!! I can’t imagine how much all of this costs!! I can’t believe how much stock you have! Insurance only allows a weekly amount, so my deliveries come once a week. And I know some will give you a 30 day supply, like my feeding equipment & food. But holy cow you have ALOT of extra stuff! Were you able to use Jacquie’s leftover medical supplies? I can’t imagine the exorbitant cost of all of that without insurance! I hope you get your insurance reinstated SOON!!! Hang in there and STAY POSITIVE! :)

I'd suggest keeping some of the bags your stuff comes in. They are a lifesaver with packing for flying! Both for medical and non medical uses!

8:19 you are correct Janiece. Heparin is an anticoagulant which prevent blood clots whereas Thrombolytic agents dissolve blood clots. 😊

Swab caps are orange, it’s their brand name, green ones are curl caps that’s their brand name. I have some of both. They have teal ones too but no idea what their brand name is. Just saw those a few weeks ago.

Very nice and organized, for you it needs to be organized to make it easier to medicate yourself. Now as for the people criticizing and commenting g about your medication and side effects, it is non of there business. Your dr is the one that prescribed the medication for you and they know what is best for you. By the way your niece is adorable. Love seeing her be cheeky on the vlog. It was cute.

I love organisation videos, which is rather strange since I'm so bad at organising LOL. However, I can totally see why you would not want to disclose what medications you're on. Armchair doctors can be so annoying!
