Size as in width? Honestly, the boot fits fine when I put it on. My feet hurt when I start walking more than a handful of steps.

Hey, sad to see you didn’t like your pair, looking at it I can tell that was made on our old last, our new 525 last gets rid of a lot of the issues you were having with toe room. As for the raw leather inner, it just takes time to wear, or take a steamer to it with an old toothbrush works great. Hope this helps!

Either you bought the wrong size or you just need to actually wear them to break in. Any boot you buy that is made of real natural materials take a good while to break in, its sucks I know. Its literally the biggest drawback. Once they are broken in they are molded to you feet. Also you shouldn't be feeling the rough side of the leather unless youre wearing thin or ankle socks. Which you should stop that.

No thin or ankle socks. Maybe my foot was too wide? Everything felt good until I walked in them and then they would trash my feet.

I was suggest you would’ve gotten a wider size. These boots don’t come in pre-broke in. It takes about a month to wear them in.

I know I'm late to the party, but I always recommend two pairs of socks when you're trying to break in new boots. Also, if you use a leather oil it will make them more comfortable and easier to break-in.

Yeah they feel like an unfinished project. Bought a pair of their “work boot” with comp toe. Stitching started to rip 4 months in then at 5-6 months the inner lining on the toes started giving away exposing the composite toe. I’m local to the company and I wanted to support local. They need more RnD

For some reason the last they use is very narrow, so instead of a size 10 D, I suggest a size 9 EEE

The origin boots can be stiff at first. I got some nice redback branded socks and it was a night and day difference for comfort.

The offer an EE size. You clearly got a D regular. It sounds like you're not used to a leather midsole. Modern style boots have the cushy soles we're used to that don't last as long. The leather sole molds to the foot and gets better with use. There's no way those look ugly with pants.

I tried them again Sunday and nearly got a blister again. I’m done with these boots. They’re going to someone else who’s willing to trash their feet in the process.

Origin failed at making a Covid mask. If they can't get that design to work, not sure how they can pretend to all of a sudden design a heritage boot. But to be fair, those boots take months to break in. Like a Red Wing or JK Boot for example. It's a commitment.

Also you said in a comment you want to try timberlands, which tells me you don't know much about quality boots and that I probably shouldn't take your opinion on them.

Kind of what it sounded like to me. Any hand made boot like any of the boots made from companies like Nick’s and Whites take awhile to break in because of the leather they use. If he’s used to wearing sh*t like Timberlands that you pick up from the local mall these boots are a different animal. My Nick’s boots took damn near 3 months to break in but once they do they are really comfortable. This is the price you pay for a quality boot. They’re gonna take awhile to break in. He said he wore his 10 times, he’s not even close to breaking in that thicker leather.

I suggest Frank’s boots. “The Patriot” is their budget model for $350, it’s still handmade in the USA but the leather has imperfections like discoloration or wrinkles. And if you’re willing to spend a bit more on their flagship boots you can get really personal with the customization.

You sure they look ugly, or maybe they're just on you? You realize to properly break in a boot you have to do more than wear them, right? Your dad did everything for you growing up.
