Beautiful and very rare ZIPPO Black Crackle lighter from the Second World War, with the paint still practically intact in use during the war, it has some defects in the upper part and in the corners as you can see from the photos but it is 80 years old!
Everything works, the closure remains a bit slow and has some play, but it closes perfectly and remains closed.
The lighter in question is an original 1943 3-point lighter, inside it had been adapted into a 1946/47 insert which, unlike a 1943 insert, has 16 holes and the wheel lines diagonally instead of horizontally. As well as the case which is from 1946/47, this one has the upper flap torn off but still present, as often happens with zippo boxes from that era. In the end, a very rare object both for those who collect ZIPPO and for those who are passionate about second world war objects.
