Thanks for that information. I have recently wondered why T5 and T6 front bonnet design changed from the circular on the T5 to more square look on the T6. Other than the aesthetic look .. was there any functional reasons for the change?

Interesting video. But Cam misstates the purpose of the Technical Programs T1, T2, etc. These were programs to cover major updates to the models but without changing the designation. They were not GT-related. Gordon Maltby’s authoritative book on the 356 goes into the detail of each of the programs. So it would be nice to publish a correction to Cam’s dialogue so this misrepresentation of the programs doesn’t get repeated.

Cam is as knowledgable as they come, but at around the 2 minute mark he mentions Guards Red as a popular color on 356 GT cars, but Guards Red wasn't offered by Porsche until 1975. The equivalent color on a 356 would be Signal Red. Very easy mistake to make when you're trying to pull facts from 75 years of Porsche history!

I think the colour is actually Ruby Red which Cam mentions earlier before he calls it Guards Red.

@@stephenstuart159 You are correct; that's something I missed. He does say most were Ruby Red as the car in the video clearly is, but then later says Guards Red.
