The voice, the delivery, the quiet intensity; Orson Welles never had to raise his voice to shake the rafters. And when words wouldn't suffice, all he had to do was fill the silence with his look, and the message was delivered LOUD and clear. Thank you, KZfaq for keeping the words, the stage presence, the wonderful talents of Orson Welles alive.

You can tell that Orson started in literature and radio. His pacing is classic 30's Golden Age of Radio.

i could listen and watch to Orson Welles for hours and days. He could have even read a phonebook and it would have sounded like an epic novel. There was always such a ineffable power in his performance. THAT is was hollywood is missing and trying to cover with splosions and CGI effects these days...

No one could have done this except the great Orson Welles. I am from the south and had ancestors that fought for the south in fact my great great Grandfather was in Charleston when the first shots were fired at Ft Sumter. He was also in Virginia surrendered. He came home to a devasted land but rebuilt his and his families life as Americans. We are proud of our heritage but we are more proud of our country. She still is not perfect but she is our home and our love for her wiill never die.

@ corey8144. You have to find like minded people in your area and get involved. That is the only way to save this great nation and restore its' greatness.

Orson passed away in 1985, 26 years ago already. Would he fit into today's society? He was so intelligent, we have no thinkers anymore. We have become so mindless today, just fluff.
