The term assistant is no longer used The terms that are Now being used is Dental nurse and Orthodontic therapist . They are the ones doing 80 % of the work and job responsibilities in the office they do more than just assist .

Im 18 year 6 months old. Ive had my braces for 1 year now. Ive been using elastics for 8 months now. For the first four months, elastics showed great progress( my lower jaw has moved forward, like it has corrected half my overbite). From past 4 months my elatics havens really shown progress. Y is tht. I dont see my lower jaw move forward. My ortho says it depends on my growth hormone whether my lower jaw will move or not. Wt if it doesnt move. Will my overbite be left uncorrected. Plz reply doc. Im shy to ask my ortho.

Doctor.. I have my son 9 years old with anterior skeltal crossbite class 3..will elastic rubber band help for jaw correction or does he need reverse pull headgear.. Sorry to be off the topic but i am really worried about my son
