Hi & thanks ;) I just used thinners, it comes off very easy, but be careful as the zinc spray is NOT good for you, please use in a well-ventilated room ;) Thanks for the comment ;)

very beautiful. I'm a beginner in carving and succeeded but with simple images. where can i get such pictures? I want to try with a more complicated image im hands engraving

Hi & thanks ;) I find all my images from google search, it take a bit of time but just about anything can be found ;) I change most of my images just a little to match my needs. Thanks

Is your the 10W or 20W M3? I've tried this six times with my 10W M3 with no success. When I clean it with primer, the image wipes away.

Hi & thanks, I used the 10w lm3 for this project, if you use the zinc spray paint and use my settings, it should work my friend.

I tried with rustoleum cold galvanizing compound (zinc). No change. The design wipes off with acetone.

@@jpparker19 Hi mate, I'm not sure why it didn't work for you, maybe it's the quantity of zinc in your spray, mine was 99% zinc as you can see in the vid at 00:17 it shows the spray can and you can see the 99% on the label.

Please help me I have ortur master 3 But i cant engrave on zippo, on stainles steel. How to engrave some text?

Hi, first you need to find out if your Zippo is stainless steel or just steel, also did you use the zinc method like I showed in the video? as for the stainless steel, place a magnet next to it, if the magnet sticks then it's just polished steel, not much luck in marking steel, can be done but the result is not worth the effort, for my Zippo it was chrome plated brass, if you use the zinc & speed=500 power=100 it should work just fine, pls can you shop me your results. Hi, yes it will work with stainless steel, but if using the 10w module then no need to use anything just engrave straight on to the stainless, but if using a 5w then the zinc spray will give a better marking on stainless steel, I only used the method in the video to mark on chrome, because everyone said it's not possible to engrave on chrome ;) my video showing engraving straight to stainless steel, thanks. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mZ5goKWY366Vh58.html

@@lightworkz61 cool! I forgot to say I liked the video earlier (gen x, poor impulse control) sorry. So cold gal I think is the brand we used for touch ups when I galvanized I beams back in the day(easier than redipping in 960 fahrenheit kettle) do they still make that, or do you recommend a different brand?

@@mattzee6287 Hahahahaha hey no worries mate, I use a spray paint called (COSMOSLAC - ZINC MAXIMUM) I buy here in Cyprus for €6, yeah sooooo much easier than redipping mate ;) It's REALLY BAD for you to breath this stuff so PLS be careful when engraving with it.

@@mattzee6287 Hehehehehe or just buy a long extension cable and take the laser out in to the fresh air on the driveway or better next to the BBQ snacking while lasering ;)
