Before COVID I went up to the waterfall near by and drove past on the way home. Looked like there were still a few people leaving tire marks… not sure now though

Hey, not sure if you can answer this but what was the common technique drifting back then? I've seen your HD videos and that gutter looks NASTY yet none of them seem to hit it ever? Are these just really experienced drivers or are they using some safer way than just clutch kicking it and sending it?

Drivers used a combination of techniques, momentum, handbrake, clutch, and people didn’t use super grippy wide tires back then. The gutters definitely took some victims, but I didn’t get any of it on video

Yes, but it has an aftermarket turbo and exhaust manifold, so it sounds different

Probably yeah. I currently drive a s13 240 I bought from my cousin he swapped a rb20det and it sounds much different. I love the sound of the car more tbh. it still gets almost 30 mpg highway which is nice for commuting! Lol These guys in the video are clearly excellent drivers though, I wouldn't ever do this myself 😂
