There is an ancient story surrounding this part of the island. The tale goes something like this. Once upon a time, in the middle of a burning sunny day, a boy wandered into the sea, not knowing what lies ahead. He was stumbling and couldn’t walk straight, but somehow he knew where to continue. As the sunlight hit his eye, out of nowhere, a city appeared. He felt confused but wanted to explore this mysterious city. The ancient, sunlit alleyways made him dizzy and tired. He fell and hit his head.
As soon as the boy woke up, sudden worry, anxiety and unease were upon him. He saw a silhouette but not a human one. He could hear eerie sounds in the distance and knew they were coming closer. Scared to the bone, he couldn’t even catch his breath before snake-like creatures pointed a trident at his throat. They took him. Surrounded, he couldn't defend himself. They forced him to go with them, not knowing if he would survive.
They approached a big gate. The Cathedral Of Secrets was in front of them. They let him in. The creatures talked for hours about the city and the story surrounding it. The boy realized he couldn't go back home, and he had to stay and become one of them. As this realization came to him, he tried to break free. Rushing, he managed to leave the Cathedral Of Secrets, having creatures right behind his back. He dashed from the tridents, fighting for his life. He made several turns through the alleyways as creatures screamed at him. The boy managed to lose them. Thinking it was over, he felt relief. But then suddenly…

00:00 Wandering Through The Ancient, Sunlit Alleyways

i haven't been doing very well lately. it feels like the world is in a constant state of caving in. i literally wake up having anxiety attacks nearly daily. and recently the restaurant downstairs has been doing renovations and the construction team is blasting music all day w really heavy bass that shakes my floor. i work from home so i'm home all day. i left a note on their door asking them to please lower the music-they didn't. the music has been rattling my home for days with no end in sight and i feel so helpless. it starts at 7 AM and goes to about 8PM. i know the noise is just a tiny inconvenience, but in my really really anxious state its really been a struggle. long story short, putting this on in noise cancelling headphones helps. it's been the first thing to help.

Let us know what happens. It sounds like the start of a story in which your character is forced into a story arc and comes out changed. Maybe consider writing down 6 options and letting the dice decide?

youtube algorithm once again blessing me with the most amazing stuff. I LOVE your narrative storytelling+album. Mixed media like this that combines meta elements into a greater vision is my absolute favorite thing to see. beautiful ambient vibes. What a gem. Keep up the great work Osaki and may the youtube algorithm send you to even greater heights of popularity. The album art is exquisite and like another commenter said it truly does transport you beneath the waves to this oceanic metropolis.

I love the sea and mermaids' tales and what first struck my attention was the 'cover' with the seascape and the mermaid there. I like the sort of 'atmosphere' the soundtrack creates - there's something hypnotic in it. As for the ancient tale up there (I wonder how the story ends?...), I find it intriguing. Nevertheless, I don't regard mermaids as dangerous creatures (as many of the tales about them will have us to believe) - they are otherworldly, that's all. And very mysterious too. I like that. Your soundtrack offers such qualities. Thank you for sharing...🧜🧜‍♂🧜‍♀
