Our first Center Parcs trip of 2023 | Longleat vlog

Thanks for stopping by to check out our first Center Parcs vlog from this series of videos, sharing our recent stay at Longleat.
We stayed at Longleat for a mid-week break in January 2023, and were joined by family, friends and our dog Harper. We stopped in Lodge 430 which is a two bedroom executive lodge (dog lodge) in the Pine area, close to the Pancake House and Wessex Way.
In this vlog we get checked in, give you a lodge tour, go for an amazing night-time walk through the Winter Forest Lights, enjoy our first swim at the Subtropical Swimming Paradise and the rapids, play a game of Adventure Golf, go out for a yummy dinner at Hucks and loads more..!

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG IVE WAITED FOR THISSSSS 😍 i miss longleat already going back for a week in january as we all decided 3 days wasn't long enough, i think myself and rob are the same person 😂 the onion rings and the spicy chips i was howling, the spicy chips are the best food there! Who cares about the after affects💁‍♂️ would love to see you both there and go for drinks one year ❤ hope your both well and loved the editing and video can't wait for the next one 🥰

🥰☺️ thanks for watching, I'm glad you liked it. I think a little weekend break at CP is great and always nice to have, but the added time (and for less ££) makes us always try to book a midweek break if we can. We have a full 7 days booked for next Feb at Woburn which we are looking forward too. The amount of time we spend at CP there's a very good chance we will bump into you sometime, would be great 🍻

Me and my family have been to centre Parcs 3 times and we like to take 1 grey wristband each time as a keep sake and we put it in a box full off lots of things like that!

It was a decent lodge, especially as it's a dog lodge so I was expecting more wear and tear. I'm looking forward to our next trip to Elveden, sauna and games room 🤩🤩🤩

Hi guys, we’ve been watching you for the past couple months now, loving your videos, they’re so much fun 😊 We’ve finally booked our retreat at Longleat for October 2024 ( a little way off yet ) but our little girl will be just turning 2 by then. Taking our tiny black dog too so we’re super excited. Have you guys been during October before, and if so, do they put up Halloween decorations 🎃 It’s my absolute favourite time of year 👻 If you guys happen to be there we must come say hello! X

Heeey, thanks for watching, much appreciated ☺️ When we have gone in October it's normally at the beginning of the month (my birthday is 7th) and haven't been over half-term week / Halloween. I'm sure I saw they had some spooky themed activities like cupcake decorating, but not on the same level as they do for Winter Wonderland. That being said, I'm sure you'll have a fab time regardless! X

@@HelenHollywoodVlogs we are definitely going for this year (Elveden) but the plan is to be over in Florida next Oct for some Halloween Horror Nights and theme park fun. Not booked yet, and if it doesn't happen then 100% certain that Center Parcs will be on the cards 🤣

Ah, feels good to be back! Think we left the day you arrived, it was sooo cold but beautifully bright and fresh in the forest. Lucky to see a deer. We have definitely noticed a decline in the number of wildlife, especially the birds with the impact of Avian flu. We thought the music was louder than you would expect. None of which spoilt our break though. I have yet to win at golf despite many attempts😢 I think maybe I should book more CP breaks so I can practice?!❤

Definitely fresh ❄️⛄ haha. Yes the music was definitely louder than previously, it wasn't offensive but that blooming "Fireflies"sound did get stuck in my head A LOT 😂 Definitely book more breaks!! You'll be getting a hole in one in no time 😉

We’re going in May….with our daughter,her husband and the grandchildren. They’ve all been many times before. I’m a bit nervous of all the water activities..I don’t like going under the water..although I can swim fine. I’m a bit confused about what to book and what not too..although our daughter has booked things for us all.. Thanks for the info……👍🇬🇧

Oh fab, something nice to look forward to next month 😊 With the water activities, there is plenty of space for you to just enjoy being in the pool and bubbly whirlpool. Have a great time 🌲🦌

This was a good one! Do you think the lights are better around Christmas? Harper looks like he’s not as nervous!

I do like the Xmas lights and think Center Parcs do it really well. After Christmas they remove anything festive and replace with bits that fit into the wish light village story and theme. Harper can still be nervous / anxious / reactive, but maybe some progress... And some editing out all of his barking 😂😂
