Another great band from that era is Bad Company. Try their song of the same name. One of the top 10 voices in rock. Beautiful! Promise.

Takes me back to my single days in the late 70's, when I met that girl that I had been waiting for. We dated for 9 years and then married, still together! Gotta wait sometimes if you want the best in life!

One great thing about this song, is the synthesizers were played by an unknown musician by the name of Thomas Dolby, who would later become very big in his own right. He was awesome, compositionally, creatively, and technically.

Written by Lou Gramm + Mick Jones. Mick Jones on backing synth. Thomas Dolby on main synth + programming. LG, MJ, Ian Lloyd, Mutt Lange on backing vocals. He will have sung She Blinded Me with Science the next year, 1982. In 1983, Def Leppard hired both of them. Mutt produced Pyromania + Thomas played keyboards.
