‪@dunneytravels‬ and I have made it to India for the very first time! The first stop on our 7 week tour is Kerala. We take a short ferry ride from Fort Kochi to Kochi City Centre where we visit Broadway Market and meet some amazing locals! As new travellers, we explore the Kochi markets and shopping centres before eating some tasty local Indian cuisine.

You should try a sadhya meal while you are still in Kerala. Also try Thalis in every city. Its a complete meal with 7-8 items on a plate & the thalis change from city to city region to region based on the cuisine prevalent in the area you are in. This way you can try the local food from each city you visit.

You should try kerala porotta with beef curry its one of the most delicious food in kerala which is available in every corner of kerala Hope you visit my state again , Love from kerala❤️

Enjoy ur trip ✨... A simple suggestion is to try bargaining while buying products 😂 and check authenticity of expensive products if u buy them from local small shops at tourist spots...

That's what i'm taking about, what states are you going to. Please try from that state (this is your food checklist for Kerala) -Appam(half bowl shaped bread) and chicken curry/stew -Parotta(flaky flat bread) and Beef fry -Kerala Fish Curry (spicy), and rice -Thuttakada chicken fry -Duck Curry and Kalappam -El Sadhya (vegeterian, serverd on a banana leaf, sometimes with fish fry/curry) -Mussel Fry -Kerala Fish molee and rice -Beef curry and rice -Kerala Prawn Curry and rice -Goat/lamb curry and rice -Erachi Varuthachara Curry (ground mutton fry) -Fish,meat cutlets -Puttu and Kadala Curry -Thalasarry biryani/Malabari biryani (have it at paragon restaurant) -Karimeen pollichathu -Fish Fry Dessert/snack -Semiya payasam -Halawa (orange or black) -Pazham Pori or Ethakka appam or banana fritter - Chatti Pathiri

its quite strange that you were asked to not film inside malls, and it continued happening throughout your trip, normally people do film easily everywhere in India, guess you were making a mistake by taking your camera upfront or asking their permission.

We saw lots of people filming on their phones so not sure why we weren’t allowed a little camera!
