I’m so sorry that this happened, we have had our fair share of travel mishaps over the years but I’m glad everyone is safe and hopefully at some point you’ll be able to look back and laugh!

Our rv broke down to south Carolina 2 kids in the back ot our camper had a different idea . We lost 24 hours trying to get the rv fixed on Sunday. We got to south Carolina about 24hour later .

Worst road trip was with a friend, the car broke down in the middle of a rural desert about four miles from the nearest town and we had to walk to the nearest gas station in blistering heat. So not fun! At least you were somewhere you could contact a tow!

Oh my...you was right down Street from me...there is a camping world right down from my street...and another in Griffin, stone mountain...etc...that's sad you couldn't get it fixed here and went on to Dollywood...but at least u got home...you're kids at least they got to shop at Bucky's....hopefully soon you can go back to Dollywood...

Decades ago during a trip out west from Ohio our car broke down. I was sick and a kind lady picked us up and took us to town.We stayed in a motel next to the station. I remember a vending machine with buttermints and an ice cream shop nearby. I think it cost 600 total so we didn't finish the trip. Ah, memories.

Happened to my sister and her family several years ago. They drove to California to visit family and on the way home their van broke down. Luckily they were able to get home eventually

So sorry to hear that. Going from Washington to California my dads transmission gave out leaving us stranded in oregon for 2 days. A few years after that going to Alberta from Seattle my grandparents, cousin and I got stuck in browning Montana for 10 days at a campground when the engine went out. Thankfully this time we were in a trailer so we just camped while the truck was being fixed. Are you getting the RV fixed?
