I’m still working on finishing off all the freezer meals I made before my surgery. My son was impressed when he said order out and have it delivered. I opened the refrigerator freezer and showed him the meals. He then got into my little deep freezer and said you are really ready. He was impressed. God Blesss

Looks good as usual I like the way you rehydrated the vegetables in the broth and then use the broth for the gravy and everything never even thought about it you know it was one of those ding ding ding moments

Good idea and it looks really good. Will be spending a lot more time outside in the garden soon, this would be very handy. Could you please tell me how you handle cooking after you take it out of the freezer. Thanks
@OurHalfAcreHomestead3 жыл бұрын
If frozen you tent the foil over tops and bake at 350 for an hour..then remove the foil and bake uncover another 30 minutes. If Thawed bake at 350 cover 30 minutes..uncvoered 15. I hope this helps.

Hi Bev and Mr.Volfie. Thank you so much you have inspired me to make meals I have never made before. Question Bev if you use fresh potatoes how many eggs would you use? Much love from Thunder Bay Ontario ❤
@OurHalfAcreHomestead3 жыл бұрын
you mean like left over or fresh mashed potatoes? The same...one eggs for every 3-4 cups mashed potatoes!
Hey Bev. Where do you find your no msg seasoning or better yet, the recipe for that seasoning mix.

Serious question: once the fresh veggies are dehydrated, then reconstituted, then frozen, then heated in oven, are they equally nutritious as fresh or flash frozen veggies?
@OurHalfAcreHomestead3 жыл бұрын
YES! Because instead of being cooked..the water was removed from the veggies, then when cooked..it was rehydrated with organic vegetable brother NOT WATRER. After Being frozen they will retain MORE nutrition than had I just used frozen mixed vegetables. Make sense?
