Thanks for video. I enjoyed tagging along. I caught a large lynx in a rabbit snare this fall. It just sat there like a cat would sun itself on a window sill. It was dead and didn't even break a twig. Amazing thing I thought. I got it mounted and it is in my den where it sits quietly. Have you ever heard or seen such a thing.

Hey Merry Christmas buddy your line is starting to sound like mine very few marten I had 100 boxes set this year for a month and got 6, needless to say there numbers are low going back up in March to trap more beaver and put out some nesting boxes nice catches bud Chow for Now

Merry Christmas Dave . Last week I caught a wolverine on a 2-20 conibear and it broke the trap!

dave we have all left the safty on at one time or another ,I hate it when I do it as well.

Dave, do you remove the snare from the animal or just step a new snare from the sleigh

I’m not telling you what to do you sir have probably forgot more bout trapping than I’ll ever know but right under the bottom of the snare put a little stick under the center of the loop. It makes them raise their heads up then puts their head in the snare.

I’ve been watching Dewayne Lazar triple nickel trapper a lot. He put a lot of snares out for coyotes

The rams and snares are very effective now.

The temp won’t stay close to the same here in Tn. One week it’s in the teens next week it’s in the 79’s. 75 Fahrenheit degrees here today.

Triple Nickel has been having trouble with something eating the feet off the coyotes he’s been catching last little bit. Eatin whatever is in the trap or snare I mean it’s feet will be gone. Probably another coyote.

Wonder why you would take that many marten every year met quite a few people who do that without any regard for maintaining a healthy population
