I'm truly grateful for efforts if all involved in this. Without the courage and clear thinking on display here this country is absolutely doomed.

It is such a shame that not more people are members of this channel. Biznews is a great source of information.

Regarding the first question: how were these guys getting billions out of SA? I heard a lot of people were doing bitcoin arbitrage. Buying bitcoin at various prices overseas and then flipping it locally while exchanges were out of sync to make a profit. You can only do that if someone was buying it locally. Now who wouldn't care if they lost 1-5% of their money on bitcoin? Someone looking to get it out of the country quickly and easily comes to mind.

Not a surprise that infrastructure gets left to last. I live in Amsterdam in The Netherlands and our leftist municipality has kicked the maintenance of the canals down the road over the past decades. As a result some parts are about to collapse and have to be propped up in all kinds of ugly ways. Total costs 32 billion ZAR and 20 years. The only good thing is that this money wasn’t stolen, instead it was used on all kinds of vanity projects thought up by politicians. So, SA, you are not alone, politicians are inept and wastrels everywhere.

Few got the courageous talent who care about S.A.to prosecute crooks in goverment. Why people think politics is way to get rich. ?

It is not always so simple. Sometimes a good person gets corrupted, they make promises they can't keep, then they get offers they can't refuse..
