I always either see them complain or quit, and always see Faye tough it out. Not gonna argue that he could have changed the outcome, but it isn't sportsmanlike.

That isn't true. If you achieve a wonder victory, you get additional points for every other player who was still alive when you started(!) building the wonder. This means, that Don Artie actually could have made an additional point by building the wonder first and then killing Don Artie.

matchmaking is accurate but it works in tiers, basically after 1min search it will expand so you fight people above or below your skill. then the more time passes the wider the search. so if you want to find relatively equal skill you should re-que after a while. i dont remember the exact timing but im sure its in a drongo vid somewhere

I saw that. The rules are kind of pathetic in that regard, because they only forbid the king movement towards an explicit aggression. But with a map of this size, if the falling king simply migrates from one side towards the opposite side, while knowing he has no chance to survive there, what he's actually doing is just removing the potential points from the player who destroyed his base, and donating them to the player that is ruling over the destination region.

its MegaRandom and not necessarly a 'new map' That being said during that week all games were on MegaRandom so you can look out for 4 very different looking maps.

There was no teaming to take out state, he was getting attacked and others saw that and took advantage especially in early ages. However I agree DeMu is not playing in the spirit of the game

@@knoxville1782 yea the teaming rule is hard to enforce because the lines there are blurry, this wasn't a blatant teaming that's public in nature, but it was a 'sort' of teaming. DeMu himself saw it as teaming, even said in chat 'I helped you with State". There are more grounds here for analyzing them with scrutiny than there ever were in Bees case... is my whole point. That whole bee incident has left a sour taste about outback octagon for me, despite it being reverted.

@@kunaldhaimade8791 I understand where you are coming from, however it shouldn't leave a bad taste as they admitted their mistake and took ownership of it, overall there isn't much Aussie Drongo and the team can do to stop "soft teaming" as it's really apart of any FFA RTS game even with rules put in place. It says it in the name "Free For All" your free to attack or not attack whoever you please. If they can prove they were scheming before the game then yeah 100% take action but if it was just someone wanting to jump on a bandwagon attack that is perfectly fine. People make their own choices based off previous play, which is shown in this game with Puppypaw1 most of the players know how dominant he is and how many points he already has so he was taken out relatively early. There is also history between players who might hold a grudge for being taken out by another for whatever reason, someone sees their "Enemy" being attacked and says "yeah I'm gonna help get him out of the game" there is nothing anyone can do about these situations unless Outback Octagon becomes at 2v2v2v2.

Even if he got what he deserve by getting kill right away by Don (props to him for doing it and not letting him live), it is still really unfair for everyone else, because demu didn't even try to snipe State king with his shu ko nu which could have deny 50 pop to Don and make him lost a lot of time and ressources try to kill demu after, which could also means that Don is not there to get puppypaw and marinlord would have 50 more pop, who knows ? But it sure would be better to not have people like Demu and more like faye who play until the bitter end. Not to mention that Bee got a warning for something that didn't even change the course of the game while he got kinda team up on too

I scouted demu and state fighting and I was just keeping track of neither side dying so I could come and clean them up later. I was on deep sea fish (which is broken) while they were fighting, as soon as I turn on them in age 3 they are both gonna die no matter what. Demu hoped to have some goodwill with me for dealing with state and thought maybe I would run away because of that, but I didn't care i'm just here to collect both kills. This is not teaming in any way, demu shouldnt have surrendered as he did but there is no point being made to it because there was no fight over the king and I was 100% getting that kill, just 20 sec later if he didnt surrender (burn tc first). You don't have to compare everything to something else
