Just picked one up for 180 on Black Friday. So pumped

Thanks for the review. I just got mine. However, it’s worth noting in capturing value and warmth that OV advertises 155g of DownLT but won’t say how much of that is down. All they would tell me is that it’s more than 50% (I’m assuming by weight). They use a 80% LoftTek synthetic 20% 800 fill down in some of their sleeping bags. So if say 55% / 80g is down, that’s in Ghost Whisperer territory for just the down content. Other points of comparison would be the Patagonia Down Sweater which has 150g 800 fill down (all down) and feels MUCH loftier than this jacket.

Highly recommend their Vintus hoodie. Just ordered this puffy jacket and looking forward to it.

I especially like that you talked about "sizing" at the beginning. You answered all my unasked questions about the hood & its adjustments.

another great video, thanks Sean. I also saw your video review of Patagonia Storm Shift pants. As you are out in Colorado and I'm guessing do some resort skiing, would you think that the Storm Shift pants and NovaPro down jacket, would be a good set up for resort skiing? I'm sure the pants would be fine, but do you think OK for the NovaPro? Or would you go with a more shell type top outer layer? Thanks, Russell

It has 850 fill, which is great, but doesn’t it depend on how many ounces of fill?

Pit zips are weird, don’t know who is actually doing cardio in their down jackets. But since no one else does put zips on down jackets I guess it’s a good niche for them.
