No matter how much I think the referee's have gone this year and that's B.A.D! there is no place in the game for this otherwise it (the game) will go from bad to worse. It's on a slow decline now and given the fact that coaches are not allowed to voice their opinion of the refs performance at the post game press conferences players should not be allowed to give their opinion on field either. James was the teams captain and as you said 310 game experience and he should have known better. As frustrating as that game would have been for him and the team some things just have to be kept checked. Getting a reduced charge because he is of good character is appalling and I'll just use an example for you. Of recent we see Manase Fainu, the Manly player charged with stabbing another person and found guilty, Des Hasler gave this bloke a character reference. The bloke stabbed someone, threatened the very life of another person by stabbing him with a knife, do you think Manase should get a reduced sentence because DES thinks he is a GOOD FELLA? I don't!
