Majkl is preparing today a Czech favorite, Oven-roasted pork bites with sauerkraut. There is nothing better than to eat crunchy on the outside - juicy on the inside pork bites, accompanied with a sweet and sour taste of a good sauerkraut.
What is very important about this recipe is that it is very simple, anybody can do it, with great success.
Ingredients for 6 people:
1,5 kg of pork shoulder butt
0,5 kg of pork belly bacon
75 ml of sunflower oil
1 large onion
1 garlic head (10 cloves)
1,5 tablespoon of freshly ground caraway seeds
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
For the sauerkraut, you will need:
1 kg of sauerkraut
800 g of pear compote or pear purée
1 glass of white wine
1 grated onion
1,5 tablespoon of sunflower oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
