Ugh I want Mantis to be a permanent fixture in DCA so badly, or at least like once a week replaced Gamora in the Guardians Dance Off show cause she looks absolutely amazing and I love how they translated her “alien-ness” into the parks faithfully without making her scary. The coolest part about Avengers Campus is seeing characters interact with each other so the possibility of seeing her talk to other Avengers she never met in the movies would make me so happy. Also it’s so funny to me that as soon as Pete was announced myself and many others immediately thought of Dan and how he manifested it into reality lol

more like the advancement, perfectionism and love that every industry over in japan puts into making literally anything is unique to Japan. They go above and beyond in all aspects sometimes its wonderful for fans like us but hard on the workaholic culture there lol

I live in Japan, I gotta say it's very impressive to see in a KZfaq video for a few seconds, but when you see it in person it's pretty meh. I actually prefer watching videos like this to going to the parks 😅😅

The Goofy costume kinda sticks out like a sore thumb now, especially against the Pete & Clarabelle Cow costumes. Disney should get a new modern looking head sculpt for the Goofy costumes.

Honestly surprised they haven't done new heads for them, especially Max since his costume's been used as the Goofy Movie character a lot when the suit was designed as the Goof Troop version.

Really hope they bring Panda Mei to the US, or bring back 4 Town as a seasonal gig! It shows that Disney Parks IS paying attention to Turning Red, so hopefully this is a sign we may get more of these in the parks. I'm really glad to see so many new costumes in the parks, they've always been my favorite part.

Is it me or is Clawhauser in the Tokyo Disneyland parade here a somewhat impressive looking inflatable costume? Inflatable costumes that don't look like gigantic moving pool toys are pretty rare.

I live in Eugene, Oregon. I don’t think a single person in 100 miles would even *understand* the words “4*Town was playing at Canada Pavilion at Run Disney” let ALONE be excited for it (I’m quite certain my wife didn’t). Thank you for, at least 20 minutes, making me feel normal. 😂

You know what I think would make a great costume character, Dan? I think Gretel from Hamster & Gretel would be good to be seen walking around the parks. For her costume, I would show her superhero outfit and as a fun gag, I would place a tiny model of Hamster on top of her head and when she walks about and dances in parades and shows, the Hamster model's monotone eyes would open and close to give the otherwise static character life. Sort of like that Dopey costume you talked about that showed him standing on Sneezy. Can you imagine Gretel being a costume character in the Disney Parks?

I love that Disneyland is doing a Pride Nite but those costumes were a CHOICE. I feel like the girls come off slightly better than the boys, and Mickey’s the least wild of the guys, but overall they are just *fascinating*

What's great about Mantis is that she has a very distinctive way of moving and talking in the movies, so she works a lot better than most marvel characters do. Some of them are just a lot less unique and therefore the park actors don't have a lot to work with.

Cool Video!!! I hope Toontown adds more characters like Horace Horsecollar, Mortimer Mouse, Figaro, Fifi the Peke, Uncle Scrooge, Professor Von Drake & other classic characters, like other members of the Duck Family. Not to mention more characters based on Disney’s newest films (PIXAR included).

Hey Dan! I'd love to see you do an evolution about Furby costume characters. From what I've seen there looks to be a handful of costumes, including a Shelby and some from a Furby live show that doesn't have alot of information. As a Furby collector and costume chara fanatic I'd love if you'd be able to shine some more light on these costumes and their history for others

i love how the forgotten ones got a second chance (edit: and how pete always had that butt chin) (AnOtHeR eDiT: and the carousel of progress needs the love it needs for the ride. it keeps having malfunctions and needs a closed refurbishment in my opinion. the costumes though doesnt help from the ride but ay i like them a lot)

Dan! The No Limit Parade! As far as I can tell, those are the first theme park appearances of the Koopalings from the Mario Franchise!! And there... people wearing helmets in the color scheme of the characters. I'm suddenly conflicted. I mean, I'm psyched they're getting some love in the parks, but they really should be in the same style of costume as Mario and co.

The Clawhouser costume seemed a bit...off, to me. So thank you Dan for putting my thoughts into words. And Noel MacNeil was the voice of the bootleg Mickey? Never would have guessed. I know he voiced NutterButter the Squirrel on the show before.
