Skincare is different over 40 , with different issues. You'll want to try this game-changing skincare from The Ordinary immediately after what I show you.
Fine lines, deeper lines, loss of collagen, neck bands and lines...I was thrilled to find out there was a product that helped with it all, with less redness and irritation than the retinol products I was using. The Ordinary's Granactive Retinoid 5% in Squalane has seriously improved my skin and especially MY NECK! I'm so excited.
You can order yours from Amazon at my link: a.co/cdEob1e
The Ordinary has not paid me for this review nor have I been given anything for free. I paid for this product and this is my raw, unfiltered opinion.
My Amazon link is an affiliate link which means that at no extra cost to you, if you purchase anything in that link, I will receive a small amount from Amazon as a thank you for sending you there. And I thank you too!

I just started using retinoid at 72 about 8 months ago. I apply it and use a few drops of castor oil patted over it. I actually watched wrinkles go right out the window. I do use a bit of a sculpting cream. I want to try the ordinary when I run out of my retinoid.

I love the ordinary! But it’s so clinical unless you know what you’re doing it can be daunting. I am such a layperson lol. Thank you for this review and intro to retinols!

I always appreciate an explanation of retinol vs retinoids! I can never figure it out. I'm currently in love with CeraVe resurfacing serum. Gentle but effective! I am also about to try Agencies prescription strength retinol though, which me luck with that! I will put this one on the list! And I know all about going hog wild. I know better but can't help but wonder, maybe more is more ;P

Very edifying! I learned a lot! Thanks ❤. I’m getting IPL next week. It’s the only thing I do. No Botox.

Since you mentioned collagen, is it worth eating collagen peptide supplements? Please make a video on that.

I do drink a collagen supplement. I haven't done a video on it because I'm not sure how much it does. I am just continuing on it because I "think" it's doing something!

I'm in my 50s, with sensitive combination skin (from really oily to super dry) and I'm a total convert to cold-pressed pure jojoba oil! A little does go a long way and it doesn't have to leave an oil slick everywhere you go! 😂 Apart from marionette lines (probably mainly due to being overweight) I don't have many wrinkles; however I've noticed everything is starting to droop more and more and my double chin is developing its own double chin... 😭 I've been curious about The Ordinary products as a whole because of the research behind their formulations. Don't be fooled, the bland packaging is a clever twist to make it look serious and scientific! That said I will probably try some of their products in the future as they are reasonably priced and are well reviewed. Do I want to look the best I can? Sure! But not if it means getting a new mortgage to pay for my skin care, hair and makeup!

Hi Sylvie! I'm glad you're here and chiming in! Jojoba oil certainly doesn't need to cause an oil slick but tell that to my sister!! 😂 So the packaging for the Ordinary... the writing is SO SMALL! I have to take a sharpie and write the product name on it very large so I can see it! That works for me. I do think there's some serious science behind this stuff because it works so well. Better than anything I've tried so far! I certainly don't want to pay an arm and a leg for my skincare but oh man, some of these products are soooooooo worth it. For real!

It's not too much... At night I wash my face with with a salicylic acid cleanser, pat dry, pat on this granactive retinoid, let dry, add my night cream and that's it! if I need more moisture around my eyes I'll add eye cream but I usually don't.

The five percent is gone. Is the 2% worth getting? I’m having trouble reading the product is it .05%?
@unblahyourself

It was 5%. They do sometimes temporarily run out of certain products but I do think the 2% would be worth trying.
