Just picked up the G430 LST from the Stealth 2 plus liked the feel so much better. Forgiveness was fantastic and I gained more distance to top it off. I can’t wait to take it out on the course for the first time.

i really like the lst. i found i spun it about 2-300 rpm’s more than my other driver. not the longest, maybe six yards behind my new driver, but it’s so easy to hit, and ridiculously forgiving. switched to chrome soft x’s and it just spun a little too much for me. still a very good driver though. top 3 for sure along with the paradym and honestly the srixon

Your reviews are good, well-spoken and you present data/feels in an entertaining way. Maybe do some reviews for lower-speed players? Keep it up if you can, your channel will definitely grow.

I hate how the headcover feels so cheap. In Canada, the LST is $850.

This review is spot on to my own thoughts. I ended up with a Paradym. The Paradym just launches the ball in comparison and is truly a low spin driver. The LST isn’t really that low spin.

Glad you enjoyed it! I am considering trying a Paradym TD against the TSR3. Were you able to test those at all? If so, what results where you seeing?

@@TheEquipmentJunkie I actually didn't test my TD versus the TSR3. Only reason is my main playing partner has a TSR2 and I just wanted something different. The TSR2 though is still very low spin. Even lower than the Ping G430 LST in my opinion.

@@nibpicky Fair enough, yes I agree the TSR2 is definitely another great looking, forgiving option and not super high spin by any means

very true. same as what i found. i still went with it because it was just so forgiving and easy to hit. paradym is a cannon, but i switched into a rogue triple diamond s head about a month ago

The weight isn't a huge problem anyway. Last year I added 10 grams to the stealth 2 and picked up some distance. It was pretty wild.

For me, this is the best driver I have ever hit. Very low spin and very forgiving. I dont hit it further than any other driver I have owned but I hit a ton more fairways.

It’s a super accurate players option imo, but yes you definitely give up some speed. That’s the beauty of equipment, have to find what works for you and I’m happy to hear you’re enjoying it! 🙌

I think you’ll find that Pings drivers are designed to have a Counter Balanced shaft to combat the heavier heads. Do the same test with one of their engineered shafts use the evenflow CB and see if that doesn’t solve the swing speed issues.

A CB shaft will make the club swing-weight out to a lower number and “feel” lighter in your hands. That said, it will not change the overall weight of the club/head and thus will likely still be down in terms of SS.

I’d check out the Srixon ZX5 LS MKII as well, didn’t test it really in-depth until yesterday and it is shockingly fast and straight imo. Hopefully can get a video made on it soon.

How many degrees do the three flat settings lay the low angle on these?

I think you may need to go back to school on Ping drivers. Do some research on why the driver heads are heavy. Its intentional so they're not about to start making them lighter. They are heavy for a reason.
