I relate to the protagonist's struggles here a lot, so this was really nice to see. Great animation! I really loved how the sound design tied into the "overwhelming thoughts" theme.

This is so true about anxiety and overthinking, trying to shut it off, block it, shove it aside, never works, but looking at it and facing it logically works, at least for me

THE AUDIO IS AMAZINGGGGGGGG. It combines so well with the animation. Yet the most astonishing to watch is your visual art style. It looks so smooth, stylish, and soft. Plus, it's a delight to the eye watching your illustrations in movement. I also think that is impressive how you're able to understand the student stress without the use of dialogues . By using visual hints that help you complete the overall the narrative of the shortfilm. You did an incredible job!!

I really appreciate the fluidity of the plants and closeup expressions since they are the key storytelling elements. Im guessing with student films it is hard to know where to utilize your most detailed shots, so amazing job!

Same here. For me it seems to flare up with my stress levels which I have to work hard at lowering for the sake of my hair. Last year, before vaccines were available, my whole household caught covid with one member winding up in the hospital. I was so stressed out by everything (+ADHD and feeling too fatigued to do anything thanks to being sick) I started pulling out hairs on the top of my head as a kind of self-soothing fidget. I managed to get myself back to baseline, but then I had to deal with lil tufts of hair poking out of the top of my head all year. I joked about it, but it didn’t change the fact that it’s embarrassing.

I like how at the end they decided to take a break. So many similar animations or videos show the person being able to draw or write whatever they were before just fine after calming down. This one has a more realistic and healthy approach to it

This is really cool! I love how once the artist learned to breathe and not be disturbed, the stress plants actually inspired the artist draw the flower. It’s like they had a bad experience but learned to make the most out of it. Hope your career is as stress-free as it can be though!

amazing work! i'm so glad i stumbled across it ^___^ the "breathe in breathe out moment" was really nice as well :,) i love when artists do work like this that show emotions entering the physical world, i have a very tough time with communicating and sometimes i wish vines would just sprout out everywhere so people would understand how suffocating it feels sometimes
