Not only can Santos enter Capitol at any time, including the floor of the House, he also has lifetime access to their gym facilities, can eat in the dining room, etc., etc. This too needs to change.

That is absolutely insane lol if you were fired from a job you couldn't just keep showing up everyday and hanging out, using their bathroom and amenities and all that. You'd think they could at least carve out an exception for expelled members, given how rare that is. Santos will try to extend his 15 minutes as long as he can - he's worse than Danny Bonaduce about that. Adolph Hitler was NOT elected. He was APPOINTED. His (NAZI) party won 46% of the popular vote but only 33% of the seats in the German parliament in 1933. Hitler himself did not stand for a seat and was not elected to a seat. Under the Weimar Constitution the elected German president (Hindenburg) could appoint anyone he wanted since no party had anything close to a clear majority. Hitler's name was not on any ballot in the 1933 parliamentary election. He was never an elected Member of the Reichstag (MR). HItler ran against Hindenburg nationwide for the presidency in 1932 and lost 53-38. He would have appointed himself Chancellor had he won. When Hindenburg died in 1934 Hitler proclaimed himself de facto president as well without any election in violation of the Weimar Constitution. Please stop with the fiction that Hitler was elected.

I will admit she's quite charming. That said, she made quite a few intelligent points about Biden and the Dems and their need to focus on the financial situation facing a majority of working class and middle class U.S. families. I'm not so sure about her knowledge or nuance regarding international matters. Making sweeping generalizations is inherently racist. If I were to assert that Jews, as a whole, are racist because some of them voted for Ben Gvir, a convicted terrorist, that statement would be racist. Likewise, claiming that Palestinians don't want a two-state solution is factually incorrect. George Bush initiated a war in Iraq that resulted in the deaths of one million Iraqis, yet people voted for him. It would be unfair to suggest that all Americans supported this mass killing. The Likud ruling party charter from the 1970s includes a commitment to expanding Israeli control from the River to the Sea, a fact that Bill Maher currently seems to overlook.
