Paul Davids hey ! How do you build up obertones (are they fifth, octaves,... ?) great video btw !
@alexis1156
@alexis1156 6 жыл бұрын
Those overtones are actually much higher in db then i thought they would be. I thought that overtones would be much lover in db compared to the fundamental, but they are actually pretty close, or at least so it seems looking at the graph.

Wow! The size of the drink you needed to get over editing this. I imagine there were some interesting overtones and quite a bit of distortion by the end of the glass!

It's really quite interesting how at first it sounds like your adding a second voice, but the more overtones you add, the less that effect becomes and the more it again seems like one single note. Cool video!

Cool video & nice editing!! It's amazing how full your tone can get with a few overdubs. I cheat and record the same riff through 4 different amps at once and blend that mess up. It's almost as good, but still not as full as a good set of overdubs. Smashing Pumpkins did this ad nauseam! For example, many of the songs on Siamese Dream have as many as 100 guitar parts! If you listened to some of those tracks alone, they would sound HORRIBLE because they were just a fraction of the dynamic range... but blended together... it's heaven!
