As a man that would pay for his family to go to a local event bc i like my team.. why cant they just be the home team? LAN is the best but if its online why cant just the home team show up and play online in front of a supportive crowd? Seems like a win win for fans and the team.

If you aren't seeing the competition live it's a waste of money. Venues are incredibly expensive and every single home stand already lost money.

It's blizzard's fault yeah. But how I understand his point is that generally top dawgs shouldn't speak bad about the game. How to achieve this is on the developers but if the top guys talk shit about the game then it's very bad for the game and it's eSports.

In hindsight???????? Moving to KZfaq exclusively was ALWAYS and is a horrible idea. You’re talking like HALF of the viewers… the CDL did the same thing and last year they averaged almost 3X as many views per match. It’s not even close.

I havent opened Twitch app or browser in 4yrs, but I think its because Im 33 and my demographic is not there. Thankfully Melty has been uploading vods TBF i only used Twitch from 2016-2019 for OW, but what else is Twitch good for? I don't play other games and most streamers are cringe

@@IHJellowhenever you say the word "stream" twitch is the first word that comes to mind. Streaming is twitch, video hosting is KZfaq, search engine is google, browser is chrome. In other words twitch is the main streaming platform. It is good exactly for streaming. Don't get me wrong, KZfaq has a shit ton of good features for streaming: way higher bitrate, better player, I forgot one more thing. But the audience still haven't moved away from twitch and KZfaq doesn't do an amazing job of promoting KZfaq as a streaming service. Cringe streamers are everywhere, you just don't see cringe guys on KZfaq because KZfaq sucks at recommending you streams in general
