Stuck in the kitchen cooking, two crap songs play. Then I hear the starting guitar to an Ozzy song and I say out loud "Thank God for Ozzy" . I lost my wife to a sudden stroke 3 years ago but an Ozzy song can take me back to when we were new and flying high in our new melding of us. Thank God for Ozzy.

1981 was a great time for rock and metal. It was a great time to party too. No cellphones, no 24 hour cable news, no constant politics and bombardment of your mind with non sense. Just great music, awesome cars, fantastic clubs and bars and all these greats were still in their prime!

Agreed. It kind of sucks he and Lee Kerslake are not in this video. Obvious this kind of thing gets the green light from Sharon. As much as I loved Randy when I went to see the "Blizzard of Oz" tour I was pretty let down with Bob and Lee gone. It was my first concert ever and I still have a clear vision of Rudy Sarzo performing the intro to "Believer" whilst hearing it for the first time. Then I get the record three months later and it is STILL Bob!

I was in 9th grade when Blizzard Of Ozz dropped. When I heard Crazy Train for the first time the hair on the back of my neck stood up. The rhythm figure played right after the intro hook took me by storm..I remember thinking how was it possible one guy could play one guitar and make it sound like that. I mowed lawns and begged my parents for a guitar. Randy's playing spoke to me and told me I must learn how to play guitar. Randy Rhoads inspired a life long love of guitar playing in me. There is a reason why Zakk Wylde calls him Saint Rhoads. I miss all the music we would have had if there was not that horrible tragedy.

Randy was amazing. His songs in Tribute are the only way for most people to hear how he really sounds like, and it's just amazing!!! It's like an amazing sound that couldn't be made with a "normal" guitar or a normal player. He was and he is special, and will never be forgotten, 'cause legends never die. Greetings from Rio Grande do Sul, Brasi. With respect and love for Dee, Ozzy, Randy and all the families.

What I truly love about that album is all the little mistakes that are in it. There are a few times where Randy's guitar just completely craps out and I love the way he is able to recover from those little technical errors. Randy for sure would have hated that particular performance that night, but I love it for all it's little errors. Everybody is human and nobody is perfect and live music doesn't always line up or work out the way you want but that's what makes it exciting.

@@mikeg.9238 Thats fuckin awesome. I only got to see him once, Retirement Sucks Tour for Ozzmosis at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY. It was epic. Some girls at the show asked me if I was the bassist for Korn who opened for Ozzy that night, before Korn became big time. My 25 year old red-blooded American male instincts told me say "Hell yeah I am" and then try to get laid, but then my brain was able to process they looked underage so the adrenaline dump that hit me from having that realization kept me from being a dumbass. Haha Another funny thing about that show, I was taking a leak at a urinal in one of the big ass restrooms Rupp has and in walks this hot girl, drunk as shit talking on her very early cell phone stumbling around and talking loud as hell. I was all by myself except one dude taking a shit in a stall. Plus, I was drunk as shit myself. So many thoughts raced through my head while she walked in one way then behind me and back out the other way. I just remember I had drank so much beer I couldnt stop pissing to do anything had I wanted to anyway. Ha!
