P-51 Guide to Ground Attack - DCS World

Күн бұрынIn today's video we explore air to ground employment of the P-51D Mustang; strafing, rockets, and bombs. Something I forgot to mention, is there are different belts you can choose for your guns, each for a different purpose such as strafing or aerial combat. This was a more recent addition to DCS than the bomb fuses.

thnx.bought my self a fw-190 a8 but thx to trail i am able to use this bird too. its not easy to attack ground targets like this when they shoot back!(AA) S!

Whats the fuzing switch up position "chem" for ?

There’s a smoke canister you can load on the wings. That position will activate those without dropping them. Last I used them (it’s been a while), the smoke runs with the pickle button (weapon release) held down, and stops once you release the button.

would delayed fuse lessen the chance of taking damage from your own rockets?

Possibly, though not sure. It's not something I've tested, and I don't think the fuse delay is long in either case.

@Brazmann021 He is just joking kind of. Implies you buried unexploded ordinance, or buried an unexploded Bomb underground. 🙂
