Im just glad the guy gets an opportunity to show what he can be. He's a monster around the rim, athletic, good finisher, great rebounder, and a good paint presence on defense. Exactly what they needed. Luka/Kyrie pick and rolls just got real tough to defend.

Gafford is good energy. He's will be good for the locker room. On top of that, defensive force, good rebounder, athletic constant lob threat.... Dude is a perfect fit.

I came back to the NBA as a fan because of Doncic and have been struggling watching a player of his caliber surrounded by guys who weren't utilizing him to his fullest. What they didn't understand was that they would become even greater if they could wrap their head around his greatness. Watching the game last night, was the first time I felt like something special is about to happen with the Mavericks. This is the exact engine that this team needs.

Those guys are not getting minutes here if not for any injuries and you dont want to give Kidd to much of a choice anyway. Mavs are at least 10 deep even for PO rotation when they are healthy. Luka, Kai, Lively, Gaf, PJW, Hardaway, Exum, Kleber, DJJ, Green...then there are already Hardy, Powell in case of any injury. You want your PO rotation down to like 9 players anyway.
