Puri
Ingredients
1. Wheat powder (Atta) - 2 cups
2. Salt - to taste
3. Oil - 1 tbsp
4. Water (approx.) - ½ to ¾ cup
5. Oil - 2 cups
Preparation
1. Mix 1 tbsp oil & salt with atta & make a dough adding just enough water and kneading well.
2. Keep covered for 20 to 30 minutes, divide into convenient balls, smear each with a drop of oil & spread out into evenly thick rounds.
3. Fry in hot oil so that both sides puff up, drain & set aside.
Serve hot with any choice of accompaniment.

നമസ്ക്കാരം സുമ ടീച്ചർ. ടീച്ചറുടെ cooking videos ഞാൻ സ്ഥിരം കാണാറുണ്ട്. ഒരമ്മ മോൾക്ക്‌ പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുക്കുന്ന രീതിയിലുള്ളവയാണ് ഓരോ വീഡിയോയും. എനിക്ക് എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ അമ്മയെ ഓർമ്മ വരും. വളരെ നന്ദി ടീച്ചർ. ഇനിയും ഒരുപാടൊരുപാട് വിഭവങ്ങൾ ടീച്ചർക്ക് ഉണ്ടാക്കി കാണിക്കുവാൻ അവസരം ഉണ്ടാവട്ടെ എന്ന്‌ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.

Perfectly explained, teacher. This is how I make puri as well. Only difference is I add rava instead of hot oil 😊 it comes crispy, fluffy and oil free. If oil isn't hot enough, it will absorb too much oil. Just added the point for viewers. I am sure you know all this very well 🤗

Poori is anybody's favourite food. Nice that you explained about gluten intolerance. Now,khapli wheat or emmer wheat is available that's suitable for diabetics as well as celiacs. One later is thicker than another is surely a class statement Ma'm. Thank you.
