Can anybody explain Ryman's choice of bright orange for his painting? Usually he works in white, so this particular color choice comes across as quite a shock.

Without poets to describe them, without the art world's support, these paintings are nothing. If you found them in a storage facility you would toss them out with the trash.

Art which needs a lot of words to be understand?
