I have a 2022 can you tell me when it is idling should it be loud or should it be silent because to me it sounds like it is a diesel😮

Thanks for watching. The recirculation actuator can act sporadically when the engine is at idle with the 2022 model.

Hey Mike, my 2017 Pacifica was making this same sound on the driver side. I was able to order the part and change it out. No more clunking sound! But now the air constantly comes out at my feet, and doesn’t really come out on the dash. Any idea what I might have done wrong?

Good morning ☕️ any update? You may need to reset your system. To do so, we recommend disconnecting the black negative cable from your battery and leaving disconnected for a minimum of five minutes. This will hopefully reset system and re-configure all parts and sensors so they can operate correctly and as designed.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately, that did not make the fan settings operate properly. We use the link in the bio to buy the replacement motor, could it be that the driver side requires a different part?

I went back in and took is all apart, then put it in again. No change. Still coming out of the feet on all settings. The only thing I can think of is that the internal tracks are not lined up on the correct vent mobs?

This is something to be aware of then ~ That could kill the battery too and not know why as well ... i see where the cabin filter goes now.. if you can get the dash board box door off

What if the noise only comes when the engine is running ? I have Honda accord and it does that but the noise is not that loud and only happens when engine running

@@henry9471 Thanks for the follow up. Sound’s coming from the central area is usually a faulty part within the central climate control system/panel. It’s likely that the actuator designated to the central climate control is faulty. You can actually see our Pacifica’s central climate control actuator to the left as we move camera into area where we see the recirculation actuator for our cabin air box. 👍

just replaced ours and I must say that was a pain in the ass. I left the top bolt loose because I gave up and my wrist are cut up lol
