In this video, I wanted to answer a question regarding how to approach a defense that could be running different coverages. If you have a single high beater loaded up, and post snap they rotate into cover 2, what do you do?
There are many options. One way to deal with this is to package concepts on opposite sides of the field that attack different coverages. For example, you may run the dragon concept on the weak side for single high, while running a levels/divide concept on the opposite side for double high type defenses.
In this video, I use the all 22 cam of the Bills vs Rams Nfl Matchup in week 1 of the new season to show how the Rams ran a play that would do just that. We go into madden to check out some things and we also dive into spacing issues of Madden that may present problems for some plays in the game.

Theoretically, we CAN leave the play as is if we get the back out into the flat with the check release, while hitching the number 1 to that side. I should have caught that. Wasn't focused on the back, but more so the 1 and 2. With the back, having a flat{back}, hitch{1} Corner {2} creates a triangle read to deal with spot drop . . . especially cover 2. If your back has to stay in on a check release, than we are back to square one. You could make him be a free release no matter what and just know where you have to throw hot.
