Have a decant of Hymalaya and a partial of Erolfa on the way. I can't wait for them to get here!! I do love my cheapies but Creed does seem to hit different. Great video

The OG XS came out in a zippo style bottle. Kinda cool. I wore XS in the late 1990s. I don’t care if they say it’s a copy of XS, but Himalaya is outstanding.

I havent tried the Rabanne, but I recently picked up Un Jardin Sur la Nil from Hermes. It's similar to this style of fragrance, very clean and fresh, with the addition of notes like Mango and Tomato that give it this bright, tropical aquatic feeling. It's lasted 6+ hours on me as well, which was a huge surprise!

Tumi Atlas reminds me sometimes of both of these at times. Love them all. Himalaya is the best but its just so pricey! Nice review

Hey Gerard, I recently repurchased Himalaya last time I got it was around 07/08. During high school, a great friend of mine used XS and everytime I smelled that scent on him it was me asking what are you wearing and everytime it was XS thinking he was applying a different one. Not sure how XS is now not because Im looking for Himalaya alternative but as a stand alone scent. Great review brother

I picked up a 100ml PR XS tester for $25 last year. I love the old school fugier fresh clean DNA, it's very good. I have tried Creed Himalaya several times and it smells the same. XS for sure lasts longer on my skin than Creed.

Nobody does fresh scents as well as Creed, plain and simple. Need to get my nose on Himalaya as I know how you feel about it. I just got Royal Water and highly recommend you check out man, super underrated and just a beautiful scent.

I have the pure xs. Had it for years rarely wear it. Ya know the soda pop fizzy one. Ive never tried the original XS. Ive heard its like Sprite or something?? But the fact that you are comparing it to Creed, well it must be decent for the price anyway..And btw as far as cheapies go Ive been wearing one for a couple days and I must say for $30 its not bad it you just want a simple smell good fragrance thats very inoffensive.. Try Boss Bottled Night..It literally smells like a shower gel Gerard no joke. A shower gel with a birch, woodsy touch. Cheap and it smells good. You should try if you are lookin for a decent cheapie.

@@gerardgeorge I was pleasantly surprised and for a low cost you can be too my man. I actually wore it for 3 days which it is very rare for me to wear a cheapie for that many days in a row. However after 3 days it was time to move on ha. But for $30 you get a fresh clean vibe that's lavender soapy but not too soapy just the right smoothed out amount. I dig on the bottle appearance as well. It's not one you have to hide in back because it looks weird..It's fairly attractive. Give it a shot Gerard. I wouldn't recommend it if it wasn't worth it. Also, try Gucci Guilty EAU if you get the chance. It's an orris/iris fragrance though. It has a note in it I've never used before which is called snowberry. It's a little more pricey than the Boss fragrance though. It's discontinued and there is literally only a few bottles left online to purchase all across the board from what I can tell.

Found TAXCO at Marshall’s and sprayed it on. Crazy good atomizer. Hope it lasts. English Laundry Signature and Tahitian Waters are god awful. Tried Most Wanted EDP Intense, incredible

havnt smelt XS but had Black XS and couldnt wait to give it away, was sickenly sweet and couldnt handle it at all

I’ve wanted you to do this comparison for so long as I also am a huge Himalaya fan (only 10/15 ml left). I’ve had XS in my carts so many times the last couple years but I’m scared of the geranium. How prominent is it? Subtle is fine just not too much or I get nauseous. Creed pricing has gotten out of hand.😢

Himalaya to me is in the same dna as Pegasus/Reflection/Gucci Elixir, which are all pricey or what not. Nice to see a affordable alternative, can't wait for the follow up!

I didn't personally get any of those comparisons at all, short of just being floral heavy, but if Himalaya is that for you, then XS will certainly fit that affordable alternative description!
