Although there might be some ounce of truth to that, I can say not all. I grew up in the pageant industry and 2000’s pageants were probably the worst decade for pageant gowns. That’s why the mom has terrible taste because im assuming she was her pageant coach in the 2000’s

Right? Like a pageant is a competition, when did a wedding become a competition? Like she already has her future husband, its not like she needs to get his attention.

I caught that, too. A wedding dress isn't about pleasing judges and winning a pageant. It's more personal. What she wore for pageants may not have been what she really liked at all. Pageant dresses are costumes. A wedding dress is not.

That first dress she picked and said was beautiful was absolutely awful. I wouldn’t even choose that for a pageant that’s how awful it was. It was so tacky and did not flatter her at all. Mom needs some glasses if she thinks that dress is great.

You could almost taste the similarity from the wedding dress she picked vs the old picture with the bride in a pageant dress. Like holy hell. Just no. That woman is so deep she can't even see her daughter in front of her. Just an image she projects. Heart goes out to the bride. That's... Really difficult to deal with. It's really messed up and it messes you up.
