It's sad tho, how the mom couldn't step up to the aunt, but as why I understand why the bride couldn't, probably because going against trash, controlling people like her when you are small, makes you lose your power to stand up to that person and time can only worsen that, so seeing as the mom spent way more time with her sister, she probably feels that too. It wouldn't be a surprise if it were because their parents fovoured one over the other so the aunt turned out to be that controlling while the mom can't stand up to her... I don't know if it Really was like this, but point is that both the bride and the mom seem like they think they have no power over the aunt

Saying you’ve had two or three weddings means you know wedding dresses well, it’s like saying that because you’ve owned two or three cars means you’re practically a mechanic.

What I don't understand is why the mom didn't put the aunt in her place. If you want your daughter to be happy, then stand up for her!

The bride looks so defeated. Even her body language looked sad and exhausted after dealing with that woman. Poor girl. One day, ppl will learn BOUNDARIES.

Can the Aunt honestly not see the look on this young woman's face as she walks out in the last dress? She looked so happy! That should have been what mattered to the Aunt - rather than being right & so rude. I hope the bride gains the strength to stand up to her Aunt & gets the dress that makes her happy, & the Aunt gains some common sense!

I love her mum. She clearly got great style & fashion sense and made a great pick for the dress, still lets her daughter choose and values her happiness more than anything.

The aunt needs to shut up! This is the young ladies wedding not the aunt's. The young lady should be encouraged to make the choice. Her choice was beautiful!💘💘💘

This show is just solidifying the fact I will only bring a small group of people who genuinely care about my opinion of the dress shopping with me. This drama combined with the stress of planning an upcoming wedding is not good for anyone

Auntie says she’s done. Pageant wave her goodbye and carry on. Mom was supportive but it’s too bad she wouldn’t tell her sister to back down instead of just wishing she would.

Congratulations on your marraige! 💕 I don't know why I watch it either (it's an addiction!), & I'm actually getting divorced (amicably) this month. @@katebet07 Thank you Kate. I am sorry to hear about your divorce but I hope that you are going to be happy/happier! The aunt was rude and selfish. But then again, this is a show and I am sure they added more drama for the audience. Enjoy your SYTTD watching spree!! :D

Do the entourage members not realise they are ruining what should be a joyous occasion? My sister got married to a Scotsman, who was wearing his kilt, In a castle in Scotland. When my sister chose her dress, it was heavy satin, almost mediaeval, In style, but completely fitted with her husband and the surroundings. She looked so utterly beautiful in her dress, I got emotional. One of the.most stunning weddings I've ever been to. And the memories of all the try ons and fittings were a part of that experience.
